Ian has been acting professionally for the last 5 years.
He achieved a Diploma in Acting at The Academy of Creative Training, Brighton.
Ironically, after 11 years as British Airways Cabin Crew, his first professional role was playing a nervous passenger for Sky TV's Mile High. Since then he has had small roles on TV in Mile High, BBC’s Shakespeare Re-Told, and Footballers Wives. Ian has also appeared in Pimm’s, Lyon’s Coffee & Nat West Commercials.
Ian has had an extensive variety of theatre roles including, Edinburgh Festival, Musicals, a very wet Open Air Shakespeare Season and six Pantomimes in principal roles. He gets regular voiceover work in corporate training videos for Swiss Re Insurance, Cable & Wireless and Deutsche Bank. His most bizarre role to date was being kidnapped & held to ransom by the Vauxhall Corsa puppets (The C'M.O.N.S) for an MTV Video shot in Antwerp

Ian ran his 1st London Marathon April 2008 for Leukemia Research and is running The Paris Marathon 5th April 2009 for British Heart Foundation. Ian has raised money for Cancer backup / Macmillan Cancer in Great North Run 2007 & Great South Run 2006. |
